Signing up for AI Engage CRM takes a few minutes and no credit card. You fill in one short form, confirm your email address with a six-digit code, and tell us a little about your company — then the CRM builds your workspace around those answers.
This article walks through that sequence end to end. It stops at the point where you choose how to set your CRM up; that choice has its own article.
Go to your AI Engage CRM address and you land on Sign in. Beneath the Continue with Google button is the line “Don’t have an account?” followed by a Sign up link. Click it.

The sign-in screen. The Sign up link at the bottom is the way in for a brand-new account.
You can also go straight to /auth/sign-up. Either route opens the same screen, headed Create your account with the note “It’s free to start. No credit card needed.”
Every field on this form is required — each is marked with a red asterisk (*).

The Create your account form. All five fields and the terms checkbox must be completed before the form will submit.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Full Name | Your first and last name. A single word is rejected — the form asks for both. |
| Work Email | The address you want the account under. This is where the verification code is sent, and it becomes your sign-in username. |
| Phone Number | Your number, with a country selector beside it. Set the country first so the dialling code is right. |
| Password | At least 8 characters. The eye icon at the right of the box shows what you have typed. |
| Confirm Password | The same password again. The two must match. |
Below the fields is the consent checkbox: “By signing up, I agree to the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy.” Tick it — the form will not go through otherwise.
Then click Create account.
If anything is missing, the form tells you inline rather than submitting, and nothing is sent yet:

The messages you get from an empty submit — including the 8-character minimum on the password.
Submitting the form sends a six-digit code to the address you entered, and the screen changes to Verify your email with the line “We’ve sent a 6-digit code to your email.”
Open your inbox, find the message, and enter the code into the six boxes. They advance as you type, and pasting the full code fills every box in one go. The step only accepts a complete code — a partial one is refused with “Please enter all 6 digits.”
Get it wrong and the code is rejected and the boxes clear so you can try again. Three things on this screen help when the code does not arrive:
With the address confirmed, the wizard asks for your Company Website, explaining that it will “use this to help set up your profile.” Entering it lets the CRM pre-fill some of your company profile for you.
This one is optional. If you would rather not, click I’ll do this later and carry on; you can add the website to your company profile at any time afterwards.
Next comes Tell us about your company, which asks you to “provide your business information to personalize your CRM experience and dashboard metrics.”
Click Complete setup → when the three are filled in.
A progress screen takes over — Setting up your workspace…, “We’re preparing your CRM with default modules, pipelines, and more.” Leave the tab open; it is creating your account’s starting structure.
When it finishes you are asked How would you like to set up your CRM?, with a starter pack picked out for the industry you gave. That choice — Quick Start, Setup Wizard or Start from scratch — is covered in its own article.
Your account is live as soon as the code is accepted. From then on, go to Sign in and use the work email and password you just set.
With the account open, Getting Started with AI Engage CRM is the guide to what to do first.
It is worth knowing these apart, because they look similar in an inbox:
Everything above creates a new account, with you as its first user. If a colleague has invited you to an AI Engage CRM account that already exists, do not sign up here — that would build a second, separate workspace. Follow the link in your invitation email instead — Accepting Your Invitation covers that route.
OpenAI Engage and apply what you just learned to your own workspace.
