Make a field required on just one layout — for example Company Name for your sales team only — or optional on one layout while it stays required on the others, and see exactly what your team sees on the Create form.

Choose which layout a module uses for everyone who has no layout of their own: make a layout the module default with one click on its star, learn the rules that come with it, and switch back to Standard at any time.

Switch a layout off when a team no longer needs it — its profiles move to the layout you choose and nothing is deleted — and switch it back on later, then share it again with the right profiles.

Delete a layout you no longer need and choose which layout its records, profiles and layout-only fields move to, so no record or value is lost. See what the CRM checks first and what it tells you afterwards.

Decide which related lists (Deals, Tasks, Calls and more) appear on records opened with a layout, rename them, and pick up to 8 columns for each — so every team sees the related records that matter to them.

Choose which fields appear on a layout’s Quick Create form — the short form people get when they add a record with “+ New” from another record — add, reorder and remove fields, and see the result.
